Nissan North America, Inc. saved a few fireworks for the morning after the Self-sufficiency Day holiday, delivering the first Nissan GT-R supercar in the In accord States at 12:01 a.m. PDT today to a Southern California purchaser. The exotic, all-new 2009 Nissan GT-R, covet coveted by American buyers who in the old days could experience the epic GT-R only through electronic video games, officially goes on on sale today at a select copy of GT-R Certified Nissan dealers across the hinterlands. Daryl Alison of Costa Mesa, Calif., one of the outsetcustomers to order a new GT-R from top to bottom a pre-sale program launchedbehind January, couldn’t stay for normal business hours to obtain possession of his new Black Obsidian GT-R Reward model. Through deliberate arrangement with Boundless City Nissan, Los Angeles, Alison was handed the keys by stockistrepresentative Mike Discerning moments after midnight.
